This photo is from the book "The Photo Book" and the photo is by Dorothea Lange and it is called Migrant Mother, Nipomo, California. It was taken in March of 1936 along with 6 other photos which became well known almost immediately. It has a feel of sadness but at the same time looks so scared and doesn't know what to do from here. It really impacted me when I saw it.
This picture was so impressive. Even now, I can't erase her gloomy expression in the picture. I also read the photo explanation. It really made my heart bleed and gave me furiously to think. Thank you.
